Q. Why is the service so cheap?
A. We at Better Lawns exploit the tools that create running a
business efficiently. Tight routes, utilizing efficient equipment,
and making the fewest possible mistakes make it cheaper to
operate a business. Then we can pass the savings on to you!
Q. What if I am not at home at the time of service?
A. Easy, your mowing's are billed to a credit/debit card each day
following your mowing. So you never have to be home at time of
service.
Q. Do I have to sign any contracts?
A. No you don't. Just call and give us your information and tell
us when to start and we will give you a mow day and price. Any
time you need to cancel, just give us a call or email. It's that
easy!
Q. What if I have a lock on the gate or a dog in the back?
A. Either remember to take it off on your assigned mow day or
give us a combination code. We do not make return trips to mow
back yards, the actually cost is associated with sending
someone to you. If we can possible fit it on the schedule, it will be
at full cost. If not we will return to mow on your next scheduled
day. As far as dogs are concerned, if you feel he/she is to
aggressive then it will be best to leave him/her in the house on
your mow day. It is not a must, because we can and do mow
with dogs in the back yard.
Q. Do you fertilize or do landscape services?
A. YES, we try to stick to what we know best, mowing lawns.
However, we only do certain types of landscaping. Call us for

Q. What if it is raining on my day?
A. We do mow in light rain or when the grass is wet. If the rain
is to heavy, then we will come the following day. Keep these
things in mind; If we come the next day, your mow day does not
change. Also know that if you call to skip the mowing that week
due to rain, that we can not come back until your next scheduled
mowing. The grass now will be very tall and will not look good
or there may be an additional charge if the grass is over 8 inches.
So in other words, we advise you to let us mow it wet, we have
mulching mowers and it will not hurt the grass.
