Mow the front & back yard, edge and trim around the house, the fence line, & grass line with mulching mowers, line trimmers, and steel blade edgers.

Scheduling
|
The Season begins March 9th. At the time of sign up, you will receive a mow day. This day will remain the same for the entire season and will only be offset by heavy rain or severe weather.

Payment
|
We charge a credit/debit card each day following the mowing service. Please keep in mind that it may take up to 5-7 days to post to your account.

Declined Card Protocol
|
We at Better Lawns understand that we may charge an account on a day were funds are low, it happens to the best of us. That is why if we receive a declined card we wait until the day before the next scheduled mowing to charge it again. If it is declined again we will contact you to try to resolve the issue. If we cannot reach you before the next scheduled service, we will take you off the schedule until we can contact you.

Special Pricing
|
These prices are based on lawns of average size (5,000-15,000sq. ft.). If grass is taller than 8 inches additional charges will apply. We do not look at lots prior to giving an estimate, so your judgment is trusted based on a few simple questions. Also the prices are contingent until work is actually done.

Cancellation
|
Customers are kept on the same schedule until they call or email to cancel service. A minimum of 4 mows are required before one can cancel. If only 4 mows are requested, they must be prepaid by check or credit/debit card.

One-Time Mowings
|
We will do one-time mowings, only if it will fit on the schedule. Price for one time mowings start at $45+tax.

Skipping a Service
|
We allow a regular mowing customer to skip up to 2 times per season. If their is some reason you do not want us out that week, please call or email prior to your scheduled day.

Gates & Pets
|
At the time when you sign up for service, please give us the combination to your lock if you have one. Or please have it unlocked at the time of service. We do not return to mow back yards because of locked gates. Also if you have aggressive pets please place them inside on your designated mow day.

Complaints or Damage
|
In our history we have no unresolved complaints. If you have a complaint, please report it within 24 hours by phone or email or the work will be considered satisfactory. On the other hand, we understand that damages may not be discovered within the first 24 hours following a mowing. That is why we give 7 days, until the next mowing to file a complaint. At that point we try everything in our power to resolve the issue.

Rain or Severe Weather
|
We do mow in light to moderate rain. However, in the event that heavy rain or severe weather interrupts our schedule, we will return later that day or the following day. If you do not want us to mow because of rain, please keep in mind that we will not return until your next scheduled mowing. That will also count as a skip and the grass will not look its best. We have mulching mowers and can mow wet grass effectively. Trust us, it will not hurt the grass.

Other Services
|
We at Better Lawns try to stick to what we do best, mowing. However, in addition to that we do trim shrubs & very small trees(under 6ft.). If other services like tree trimming or pest control are desired, please click here to look at our network of companies who provide these services. We are not related to these companies in any way, so we will not benefit from you utilizing their services.
